Aldo van Eyck Posters

Series of posters inspired by the children playgrounds of Aldo van Eyck. A connection to the architect’s work is established through the use of primal forms and colors and non-hierarchical distribution of elements in space. The spray-painted blocks recalling concrete or sand refer to the actual roughness of van Eyck’s playgrounds. Designed in the class of Prof. Sascha Lobe. Displayed as feature of the exhibition ‘Das Kind, die Stadt und die Kunst’ at Kunstsammlung NRW in Düsseldorf.
